App Recommendation: MotionX

On July 20, 2010, in Review, by

The last few days my family has been in town and we have been doing some sight seeing. Since were doing a lot of driving I decided we needed a good GPS. I downloaded an app recommended to me by my good friend @BilalNaseer, MotionX. I quickly feel in love with this app and here is why.

My favorite 3 things:

  1. Voice Direction
  2. iPod Integration
  3. Live Traffic Updates

I will no long be using my Garmin and have fully switched to MotionX. MotionX is selling for 99 cents in the AppStore and I wish I switched sooner. 4 out of 5 stars

Inception Review

On July 18, 2010, in Review, by

I am writing this post immediately after seeing Inception tonight. This movie is easily in my Top 10 with the likes of Goodfellas, Kill Bill, Dark Knight, and Back to the Future. Inception is unlike any movie I have ever seen. This is not a movie, but more an experience. An experience in which I found myself, staring at the screen, but watching a movie in my brain. My mind was actively participating in this movie and I enjoyed it very much. Without giving away too much, Inception forces the viewer to think outside the box and learn to see the big picture in life. The movie’s ending may be one of the most iconic and pointed messaged ever presented on the big screen. As always, I avoid movie trailers and previews, because I have been anticipating this release for over a year now. Christopher Nolan, left traces of his other great films, with a sense of fragmentation from Memento, the photography and score of the Dark Knight, and even Cillian Murphy, from Dark Knight and Batman Begins. This movie was simply amazing but I didn’t put that idea in your head…….or did I?

5 Stars- Bravo
